Former WWE Universal Champion Bill Goldberg was recently a guest on The Fighter and the Kid podcast, and he was asked about Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC when his WWE contract comes to an end next spring.
According to Goldberg, there’s only one fight that Lesnar would come back for, which is the super-fight with UFC light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones.
“I think [Lesnar] does [want to fight again]. I think it may be in his plans. The [Jon Jones USADA failure] threw a huge wrench into it, because if it ain’t Jon there ain’t nobody big enough for him.”
As of this writing, Lesnar still hasn’t re-entered the USADA drug testing pool, so his suspension is still frozen. Once he re-enters, he’ll have to sit out for five months before he’s free and clear to fight again.
Lesnar’s current WWE deal expires after WrestleMania 34 next spring.
