Breaking News: IMPACT World Champion Austin Aries Crashes Live ROH PPV

2

Moments after Kenny King successfully defended his ROH World Television Championship at Friday’s ROH 16th Anniversary pay-per-view, a rowdy Las Vegas crowed was rocked by a surprise appearance from none other than… AUSTIN ARIES!?

The “Belt Collector” and current reigning IMPACT World Champion invaded the Sam’s Town Gambling Hall carrying all four of his hard-earned championship belts on his shoulders, immediately greeted by chants of “HOLY S–T” and “THIS IS AWESOME”. Aries then laid his titles down on the ground as a symbolic gesture to Kenny King, before informing his old rival that he was coming for the ROH World TV title, the only title that has slipped through is grasp in the 14 years since he first made his debut with the promotion.

While nothing has been officially confirmed at this point, and to be honest with you we’re not even sure how this is contractually possible, but we’ve been told by multiple sources that the current plan is for Aries to face King at ROH Supercard of Honor in New Orleans. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
