While not confirmed, earlier this week Mike Killam speculated that when WWE does a roster Draft, or in the case of 2017 a “Superstar Shakeup”, they generally like to do them as close to WrestleMania as possible in order to kick off the “new year” of wrestling with a fresh start. This could hint at the return of either the draft or the Superstar Shakeup now that the company intends to have stars from both Raw and Smackdown present at PPV events following WrestleMania.

This year’s Elimination Chamber and Fastlane PPV events will still operate as brand only shows, as both main events have been set and will lead into WrestleMania 34.
