Cesar Gracie Denies Nick Diaz Will Be Pulled From GSP Fight At UFC 158

UFC president Dana White stated over the weekend that Nick Diaz was close to being removed from March’s UFC 158: St-Pierre Vs. Diaz main event fight with UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. It appears that Diaz has failed to show up for several planned interviews with members of the UFC’s production team, and White is none-too-happy about it.

Diaz’s manager and trainer Cesar Gracie posted on Twitter earlier Sunday that the reports are not true.

“Reports of (Diaz) being pulled from the GSP fight are greatly exaggerated,” Gracie stated.

Diaz previously lost out on a title match with St-Pierre after failing to appear for a number of pre-fight press conferences.
