A brand new match was confirmed for Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s highly anticipated debut at the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, set to take place on April 4th during WrestleMania weekend in New York.
At the G1 Supercard, the brand new five-time IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, the Guerrillas of Destiny, will collide with the ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay and Mark Briscoe. It will be a battle of the brothers at The Garden!
Also confirmed for the show, as previously reported, is “Switchblade” Jay White defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the 2019 New Japan Cup. Participants for this year’s tournament are set to be announced Monday in Japan (Late Sunday night in the U.S.).
