If you didn’t watch New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 12, New Year’s Dash, or are waiting to see the three-hour AXS TV special airing tonight, look away. Major Spoilers Below concerning Chris Jericho and his possible future with NJPW.
After Kenny Omega defeated Jericho and successfully defended his United States Championship in a match that lived up to all expectations, PW’s Mike Killam reported on NJPW’s New Year Dash, which essentially is similar to a “Raw After WrestleMania”, in which Chris Jericho was seen attacking NJPW megastar, Tetsuya Naito. Speculation had been running rampant about whether or not Jericho’s appearance with NJPW was a “one off”, and most thought so after losing clean to Omega in their matchup, but lingering questions remained as Jericho had seemed to ignite another feud on Twitter with Naito about who the “real” main event was.
Jericho sent yet another message to Naito, seemingly cementing a future appearance in the promotion and telling Naito to watch his back.
