Chris Jericho is a true entertainment entrepreneur. The former six-time world champion has become one of the hottest commodities in the pro wrestling business. He still delivers at a very high level and can essentially call his own shot in any promotion in the world. He’s also become a fixture in American pop culture, thanks in large part to his exposure from pro wrestling and the music business.
Jericho of course is the lead singer of the rock band Fozzy. Fozzy has been going strong for eighteen years and many fans feel that the band has never sounded better. Jericho specifically has improved as a vocalist and has come into his own as a truly dynamic frontman.
Jericho recently talked about the successful year his band has had in 2018. His Instagram post touts some highly impressive numbers, including 17 million streams, two million fans and one million hours. Fozzy may not be on top of the charts but it’s obvious that the band has indeed gained some traction with music fans all over the world.
Jericho is currently New Japan Pro Wrestling’s IWGP Intercontinental champion. His next big bout pits him against the wildly popular Tetsuya Naito in a title match at New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 at the Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2019.
