CM Punk Reveals When His Next UFC Fight Will Take Place

Minutes ago, former WWE and current UFC star CM Punk responded to a fan on Twitter, revealing his return to The Octagon will come on June 9th when UFC makes its debut at The United Center in Chicago for UFC 225.

Punk signed with UFC on December 6th, 2014, and announced he had signed a multi-fight deal with the company. Punk’s debut fight then came on September 10, 2016, at¬†UFC 203. Punk lost the fight to Mickey Gall via¬†rear naked choke¬†at 2:14 of the first round.

UFC 225 is rumored to be headlined by Robert Whittaker vs former interim title challenger Yoel Romero in a UFC Middleweight Championship bout. Announced fights for the card include Rashad Coulter vs. Allen Crowder in a Heavyweight bout and Rashad Evans vs. Anthony Smith in a Lightheavyweight bout.

We reported back in early February, via Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com, that UFC officials are discussing CM Punk vs Mike Jackson for UFC 225, however, nothing has been confirmed as of this writing.
