Dan Hardy Out Indefinitely; To Receive Second Opinion From Heart Doctor

On Tuesday UFC president Dana White said at a press conference call the UFC would like Dan Hardy to get a second opinion on his heart issues. Doctors recently discovered that he had a condition known as Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome while running tests. Hardy reportedly could be forced to retire due to the issue but nothing is official yet.

“He’s got some personal stuff going on right now with his family,” White said. “We’re going to send him to the best heart surgeon in the country out in Los Angeles when he’s ready. We’re going to get him a second opinion.”
