AJ Styles has apparently not signed a contract extension with WWE. This news comes amid recent reports that The Phenomenal One had indeed re-signed with Vince McMahon’s company.
Styles took to Twitter to confront the source of the original reporting and said “I know nothing about this.” It seems that until WWE or AJ himself makes it official, there has not been a new contract signed between both sides.
Many fans have been speculating that AJ Styles would eventually leave WWE at some point this year and join All Elite Wrestling. AEW is the new pro wrestling company founded by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks. The company is signing talent and building its roster little by little with each passing week.
Styles would indeed be a phenomenal addition to any roster and that’s especially true for AEW. Chris Jericho is the most notable AEW signing to this point but that may change if former IWGP champion Kenny Omega is announced as the newest star to join. That announcement may come as soon as February 7, during AEW’s next rally.
What was that? Are you sure? Please let me know the more because I know nothing about this. 🤨 https://t.co/912V4k44uy
