As previously reported, a one-hour live special entitled The Shield’s Final Chapter is set to air on the WWE Network this Sunday evening.
Many readers have sent in questions about the event, with an alarming number of people under the impression that it’s some kind of documentary, so we figured it was worth including a few extra details.
The Shield’s Final Chapter will actually be a live broadcast of the last hour (give or take) of a WWE Live event taking place in Moline, IL. The house show starts at 7PM local time, with the Network portion starting at 9:30PM ET.
There are two matches scheduled for the special, with Finn Balor defending the Intercontinental Championship, and the actual (no, for real this time) last time The Shield will all be in one ring at the same time. They will be taking on Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre.
Our staff will actually be in attendance at the show, so we’ll be providing a full breakdown of the night’s events including The Shield’s Final Chapter. Make sure you’re following us on Instagram and Facebook as we’ll be uploading photos and videos to our social media Stories.
In addition to the talent listed above, also advertised to appear are Braun Strowman, Bayley and Elias.
While the card can, and likely will change in some ways, this weekend’s WWE Live events for the Raw brand have also featured Becky Lynch defending the Raw Women’s Championship, Tony Nese vs. Buddy Murphy for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, and The Revival challenging for the Raw Tag Team Championships.
There are still plenty (upwards of 1,000+) of tickets available via TicketMaster ranging from $15 to $110 at the most. It’s a great value and what should be a solid lineup, especially for a house show, but it’s in the middle of nowhere Illinois far away enough from Chicago that it’s not the same market.
