IMPACT Wrestling has officially the first match for their upcoming super show with Lucha Underground during WrestleCon weekend. Six of the best high-flyers in the world will share the same ring in New Orleans when three men from each brand face off in what is sure to be an incredible high-flying match.
Team IMPACT will be represented by the 2017 World X Cup winner Dezmond Xavier, the “Apex of Agility” Andrew Everett, and two-time X-Division Champion DJ Zema Ion. Team Lucha Underground will be represented by two-time trios champion Drago, his long-time tag team partner Aerostar, and the highly decorated King Cuerno, a former Gift of the Gods Champion and the current reigning AAA Latin American Champion.
What’s interesting here is that unless things have changed in the last few weeks, DJZ isn’t actually under contact with IMPACT as he let his deal expire in January. King Cuerno has also become a staple of IMPACT’s X-Division, basically ever since Lucha Underground stopped airing. Dezmond Xavier also debuted with the promotion at last week’s television tapings.
BREAKING: The first match is officially signed for IMPACT vs. Lucha Underground and its going to be insane. @IAmDJZ. @_AndrewEverett and @DezmondXavier will face @DragoAAA, @aaaerostar1 and King Cuerno! TICKETS: https://t.co/Qoi6fVIrQs
