Over the Top Rope Wrestling announced on December 19 that former WWE Superstar Pac will face Walter at Homecoming II on Sunday, February 17 2019. The event will take place at the National Basketball Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
Walter is the latest independent star to join WWE’s NXT UK brand, which may have some fans wondering why he’s being allowed to work Pac. After all, WWE’s newest guidelines state that contracted talents are not allowed to work anyone from certain pro wrestling companies, including New Japan, Impact and Ring of Honor, among others. But those guidelines do not include Dragon Gate, where Pac is currently wrestling.

Pac spent nearly six years as Neville with WWE, from 2012 to 2018. The former NXT and Cruiserweight champion was the top guy on 205 Live and many fans believed he was the most highly skilled pro wrestler on the program.
But everything fell apart in 2017. Rumors began spreading during October of that year, claiming Neville had walked out of the company. Apparently he was not happy with his creative direction at the time and he was not willing to stay the course. Neville was released from his WWE contract in August of 2018.
He returned to his old stomping grounds in Dragon Gate is Pac nearly a year later, in October of 2018. Walter on the other hand, is currently finishing up his schedule of dates on the independent circuit before joining WWE, perhaps at the beginning of 2019.
