A new report by Fightful.com has provided further details regarding Luke Harper’s backstage heat with Vince McMahon following his release request.
The former Wyatt Family member has had his release request denied by WWE, with an extra six months being added to his contract due to time out injured, and it seems that things aren’t getting any better behind the scenes.
New details have emerged regarding Harper’s WrestleMania 35 appearance in the Andre The Giant battle royal match.
Fightful.com has reported that the match was a disaster to put together, and noted that Harper wasn’t pleased that Braun Strowman forgot his spot and that Ali ended up getting hurt.
Strowman apparently hit Harper with a stiff kick prior to that, and the Monster Amongst Men reportedly didn’t think he had done anything wrong, leading to more frustration from Harper.
Luke Harper also injured his back and/or shoulder during his elimination as he was trying to protect Ali as much as possible, keeping him from flying further out of control during the spot.
The report continued and stated that Vince McMahon has a long-term issue with Luke Harper and that whatever happened in his match against EC3 would not have mattered, as Vince reportedly “decided to ate anything he was involved in long ago.”
