Goldberg Open to a WWE Return, Mentions Two Top Stars to Face

– As noted, Bill Goldberg appeared for the Miami Marlins’ Pro Wrestling Night festivities last night. The Miami Herald’s Scott Fishman noted that Goldberg appeared in tremendous shape and was in great spirits while posing for photos and signing autographs.

Goldberg shot down the rumors of a return at WWE’s WrestleMania XXX but didn’t say it wasn’t a possibility down the road. Goldberg talked about wanting to face either The Undertaker or Steve Austin if he returned, not Ryback.

  1. We seen what old billy boy did to Bret Hart, I’d imagine his clumsy ass would retire Undertaker as well.

    • this is true… I can honestly see some type of legends deal with the prospect of a match…gimmick style ( Survivor Series or RR ) taking Mania $$$ away from talents would be a step too far

      • They already do. Look at Wrestlemania. HHH, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, The Rock. All names that are taking away the spot light from other hard workers. Can’t say I blame them for doing it either

        • I agree that talents ( non established ) should be pushed, but if they can’t get over with the fans what other choice does ANY company have?? $$$ will always talk …and any name thats worth it for WWE will jump the line over talents..that’s why I’m for 20-30 man battle royals at Mania. 2 reasons: 1) for talents to get a piece of that pie 2) make it a #1 contender’s match for the MITB ppv since the SAME ppl challenge for the same straps year in/out

    • nothing was said about Goldberg going over on Taker… hell just the build up to and the match alone would possibly generate a ton of money…

      • This comment was intended as a reply to Phantom Lord below…and its not even all I said..comment was cut in half.. prob due to the power going out at the time of me responding and hitting enter
