Gunn Turns on Sami Zayn, News from Rey’s Return to the Ring, Breeze

– WWE NXT trainer Billy Gunn worked last night’s NXT live event in Daytona as the special referee for the main event. He turned on Sami Zayn, allowing Bo Dallas to retain the NXT Title.

– NXT star Tyler Breeze worked last night’s WWE live event in Knoxville, Tennessee. He lost to Justin Gabriel. Breeze cut a heel promo before the match but was met with “WHAT!” chants from the fans.

– As noted, Rey Mysterio’s first match back was on Thursday night in Guadalajara as he teamed with Sin Cara to defeat Alberto Del Rio and Wade Barrett. It was noted by fans in attendance that while Rey carried most of the match for his team, you could still see how he was trying to protect his knee. Rey is expected to return to WWE TV next week.

Creative News for Rey Mysterio’s Return, New Spoiler on WWE HIAC, More…

  1. Perhaps ReyJin Caras (I Know, This Is The Lamest Name I’ve Ever Come Up With. Trust Me, I’ve Flamed Myself Already Coming Up With That “Ragin Caras” Tag-Team Name) Will Remain A Long-Term Tag-Team Since I Don’t See Either Wrestler In The Main Event Scene In Their Futures.

Rey Is Injury-Prone and SinCara Cannot Connect With The Fans Since He Doesn’t/Cannot Cut Promo’s In English (This Is An Assumption). With Rey Cutting The Majority Of The Promos, This Should Be A Decent Tag-Team.

Although They Lack Size … Much Like Los Matadores, They Will Have No Problem Getting Over As A Permaneant Tag-Team.
Maybe It’s Just Me But I See Rey Mysterio Jr. And Can’t Help But Think That His Best Days Are Behind Him. The Tag-Team Idea Will Keep Him Relevant.

  2. Sin Cara should be the one carrying the match, not Rey Mysterio. With Mysterio’s knee issues, there’s no way he should be workhorse. If Rey can stay healthy (And that’s a big if), Sin Cara could benefit from both his presence and experience and hopefully, learn how to get himself over.
