For the first time in more than a decade, Bound for Glory returns to Chicago.
Impact Wrestling has officially announced the date and location of their biggest annual event, as this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view will take place on Sunday, October 20th in the Windy City of Chicago, IL.
A specific venue has not yet been announced, but we’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available in the coming weeks. Impact ran the 2008 Bound for Glory IV pay-per-view at the Sears Center drawing an estimated 5,000 fans. That show was headlined by Sting defeating Samoa Joe to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
This is going to be a busy year for Chicago in the wrestling world, apparently. All Elite Wrestling will be holding ALL OUT in the Windy City during Labor Day weekend, and WWE will be doing a four day run including Raw, Smackdown, Survivor Series and NXT Takeover; WarGames in November.
