Jeff Cobb is set to defend the Ring of Honor World Television Championship against Shane Taylor at ROH 17.

The event is a celebration of Ring of Honor’s 17th anniversary, a true milestone in the industry. The World TV title is a major part of ROH and at any given time, was considered by many fans to be the top championship in the company.

Cobb has been a dominant champion thus far, though he is now facing perhaps the biggest test of his title run to this point. Taylor is intense, he’s strong and he’s highly motivated to succeed, which means he’s a dangerous challenger for Cobb’s belt.

It’s clear that Ring of Honor, as well as New Japan, values Cobb as a performer and his future in both companies is surely very bright. Whether or not this means he will retain the TV title against Taylor is unknown, but it’s a match that should definitely deliver on March 15.
