As noted, 16-time world champion John Cena will be making his return to WWE on the Feb. 28th edition of Friday Night Smackdown.
Cena thanked WWE on Twitter and joked that he will be using the appearance to promote the upcoming film, Invisible Man.
The horror film starring Elizabeth Moss and Oliver Jackson-Cohen has a tagline of “What You Can’t See Can Hurt You” and, while it does come out in theaters the same day as Cena’s return to Smackdown, he does not actually have a role in the project.
Thank you to @WWE for allowing me the opportunity to come to #Smackdown @WWEonFOX to promote a project nearly 20 years in the making. #InvisibleMan 🖐😁 https://t.co/vN3FcK8RN2 pic.twitter.com/OWqhxUPyB6
