John Cena Tells The Undertaker to “Get Over Your Ego”, Challenges The Dead Man to WrestleMania Match

After losing the Royal Rumble, being eliminated inside the Chamber and losing a WWE Championship match at last night’s Fastlane pay-per-view, John Cena is completely out of options for getting on the card at WrestleMania. Or so it would seem…

The 16-time world champion initially teased that he would be attending WrestleMania as a member of the WWE Universe, even going out into the crowd and sharing a cold beer with one lucky fan near ringside. Cena then revealed that he was told a WrestleMania match against The Undertaker was “impossible”, claiming that he “wasn’t allowed” to talk about it. He then insinuated that it wasn’t WWE management keeping the dream match from happening, it was the Deadman’s “massive ego” and inability to move on from defeat that wouldn’t allow him to return to the ring one more time.

Cena then cut a “worked-shoot” style promo on The Undertaker, saying that if he was really too “old and broken down” to compete, he “wouldn’t be posting workout videos on his wife’s instagram”. In real life, ‘Taker is married to former WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool. The gauntlet was then thrown down, as John Cena directly challenged The Undertaker to “put his ego aside” and face him at WrestleMania 34.
