John Cena Says “What A Great Story it Would Be for Me to Miss WrestleMania”, Two NXT Stars Moving to 205 Live?

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE NXT stars Lio Rush and Ricochet are being groomed for a call up to the WWE main roster on the 205 Live brand.

The Observer added that while Rush is not being used much in NXT at the moment, there are those in WWE who are very high on the young star.

As we noted last night, Ricochet will be making his WWE NXT in-ring debut, along with EC3, at NXT Takeover New Orleans. The two stars will compete in a 6-Man Ladder Match to crown the first ever NXT North American Championship.

John Cena Says “What A Great Story it Would Be for Me to Miss WrestleMania”

As noted, WWE star John Cena recently spoke with Sports Illustrated, and amongst many topics, Cena discussed WrestleMania 34 and rumors surrounding his plans for this year’s PPV in New Orleans.

Below is what Cena had to say on a story line idea that might be intriguing for him at WrestleMania:

“What a great story it would be for me to miss and have to buy a ticket. The year doesn’t stop at WrestleMania, we do Raw the next night. Now imagine if this stalwart, this statue of the WWE now has to look inside himself and ask, ‘Do I still have it?’ after being left out of the biggest show of the year.”

“Don’t put this past Vince,” cautioned Cena. “Vince is extremely smart, and the reason he is so successful is his ability to see beyond what is immediately in front of him. A two-year or a three-year play would be smart.”
