As previously reported, All Elite Wrestling’s newest blockbuster signee Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose) was the surprise guest on this week’s episode of Chris Jericho’s podcast, Talk is Jericho.
During the interview (LINK), Moxley gives an incredibly candid look behind the scenes in WWE, going into detail on his experiences and frustrations battling Vince McMahon and the WWE creative writers for years, leading up to his eventual decision to leave the company.
Shortly after the interview went live, Jericho noted on Twitter that the episode became the single most-watched show in the podcast’s long-running history – and it only took 10 hours to break that record.
Moxley will make his in-ring debut for AEW next month at the Fyre Fest event in Daytona Beach, FL taking on the “Bad Boy” Joey Janela. He will also be making the trip to Japan on June 5th to face Juice Robinson for the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship during the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors finals at Ryogoku Sumo Hall.
