Jonathan Gresham versus Silas Young has been announced for Ring of Honor 17. ROH 17 is a special two night event that celebrates the company’s 17th anniversary.

ROH’s debut in 2002 is still remembered by many pro wrestling fans as an extremely historic moment for the industry. That’s due to the fact that Ring of Honor chose to focus less on the showbiz aspect like WWE and WCW and more on the actual in-ring product.

ROH earned the reputation for being the home for some of the industry’s best pro wrestlers and that is still the case today. Stars like CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, Adam Cole, Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens all earned their stripes in ROH and rose to the top of the business.

Gresham is now considered by many fans to be one of the best technical wrestlers working today. His ROH 17 match with Young should become an instant classic, as Silas is a technically proficient talent in his own right. ROH 17 takes place on March 15 and also features Jay Lethal defending he Ring of Honor World Championship against Matt Taven.
