It’s official. Omega vs. Okada IV, and the world is buzzing about it, and New Japan Pro Wrestling as a whole. The match was announced yesterday at NJPW Dontaku after Okada defeated Tanahashi and declaring that the only person for him left to face was Kenny Omega, due to them holding victories over one another. Okada stated he wanted a match with no time limit, while Omega added that he wanted a match to be best 2-out-of-3 Falls.
Omega followed up on Twitter, talking about the training he would endure to give Okada a version of himself that would be victorious.
I have a little over a month to build the version of myself that can beat you. I understand the sacrifices and know what must be done, so now it’s time to train and never look back. #OmegaOkadaIV #NJDominion #NJPWDominion #NJPW
