Complete 1/30 WWE NXT TV Taping Results From Full Sail University

0

WWE is taping several weeks worth of NXT television tonight at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. Thanks to Jacob Cohen (@MrJacobCohen) for the following SPOILER-filled results.

— Kairi Sane, Io Shirai & Bianca Belair vs. The Four Horsewomen is announced for tonight’s show.

— Luke Menzies def. Sean Mulata

— Johnny Gargano opened the show to a great reaction (some boos) and said it felt great to be the NXT North American Champion. The crowd was chanting “Johnny Champion” and “You Deserve It!” He said that “WE” deserve it and that Johnny Wrestling was back! Tommaso Ciampa came out to celebrate the champion’s moment with him, and claimed that Gargano won the title from taking pages out of his playbook. Johnny rejected that, saying he doesn’t need Ciampa and there will never be a “WE” between them again.

Velveteen Dream came out and said he stole the show at NXT Takeover: Phoenix simply by showing up on stage for 90 seconds. He talked about winning the WWE Worlds Collide tournament, giving him a championship opportunity wherever he wants one… He got in the ring and announced that he had no interest in Ciampa, and that he wants Johnny Wrestling, and the NXT North American Championship. The two came face-to-face and Dream wanted to know which he was going to get, Johnny Wrestling, or Johnny Jackass. Apparently the crowd turned on Gargano AS SOON as Dream got into the ring.

— Jaxson Ryker def. Mansoor

— Forgotten Sons cut a promo about being constantly overlooked. They want a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships and vow to take the titles from War Machine.

— Drew Gulak def. Bugenhagen

— Gulak cut a promo yelling at the crowd for not showing him the proper respect due a legitimate WWE Superstar. He issues an open challenger, which is answered by… Matt Riddle!

— Matt Riddle def. Drew Gulak

— The Four Horsewomen making their way down to the ring for our next match…
