WWE has today announced a brand new match for the upcoming WWE Super Show-Down event in Australia featuring the return of John Cena.
The company has revealed that John Cena will go one on one with Kevin Owens at the event, which takes place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and will be broadcasted live on the WWE Network.
Cena has also been confirmed for September’s Shanghai show which will be a WWE Raw live event, that will be Cena’s first appearance since beating Triple H at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
Currently, the only other match announced for the show is the “last-ever” encounter between WWE Legends, The Undertaker, and Triple H, which will be their first match since 2012’s WrestleMania Hell In A Cell match.
WWE Champion AJ Styles, Ronda Rousey, Shane McMahon, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, and The IIconics are also currently advertised for the event.
