Marty Scurll Re-Signs with Ring of Honor, Takes Over as Head Booker

The year-long discussions over Marty Scurll’s future and expectations of “The Villain” signing with All Elite Wrestling or WWE have been put to rest – at least for the time being.

According to a report from, Scurll has not only signed a new contract of undetermined length with Ring of Honor Wrestling, but he has also taken over as head booker for the promotion.

Hunter Johnson, also known as Delirious, is staying on with Ring of Honor and will remain on the creative team, but Scurll has taken over the top position and was reportedly heavily involved with the planning for this weekend’s events in Atlanta.

Scurll is scheduled to face Nick Aldis for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship on January 24th at NWA Hard Times on pay-per-view.
