New Japan Pro Wrestling Match Awarded 5.5 Star Rating, Brandi Rhodes Gives Injury Update


Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has awarded another match a rating higher than 5 stars, with a recent New Japan Pro Wrestling bout being awarded 5.5 stars.

The match given the award was the IWGP Heavyweight Championship match between Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahashi that lasted almost 35 minutes with Okada picking up the win to break the all-time record for consecutive IWGP Heavyweight Championship defences.

Brandi Rhodes Injury Update

Brandi Rhodes provided an update on her recent shoulder injury on Twitter, posting a photo of her arm in a sling, noting she is grateful to anyone who has reached out to her since revealing the injury.
