New Japan Pro Wrestling owner Takaaki Kidani recently spoke with Tokyo Sports, and interview highlights were translated by Purolove.com’s @STRIGGA.

On working with talents like Chris Jericho, who came from WWE, Kidani said that with business increasing in 2018, he hopes to build the annual Tokyo Dome event and fill more seats in the coming years. As noted, this year’s Wrestle Kingdom event was attended by about 35,000 fans.

As for the possibility of using other wrestlers who have backgrounds in WWE, Kidani said with rising revenues NJPW has more money to pay talents who have had relationships with WWE, and he will continue to do so until “[WWE] says ‘let’s get along.'”
