When former Impact Wrestling announcer Jeremy Borash signed with WWE a couple weeks ago, we reported that the plan for Borash in the company is to work under Triple H with the NXT brand and the Performance Center. Hunter bringing Borash in is said to be The Game’s way of forming his own team, as he gains more control in WWE.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, despite Vince McMahon claiming during the XFL conference call that his daily WWE duties will remain unchanged with the relaunch of the XFL, a sentiment McMahon actually reiterated during today’s WWE financial conference call, The Observer reports the reality might be otherwise.
The report adds Triple H will likely gain more control in WWE by default, as there are only so many hours in a day and the reality is Vince will still have to run The XFL while attempting to continue his full-time schedule with WWE. It’s being said other names are rumored to be joining Triple H’s team, and those names will eventually fill key roles Triple H will need as he gains control of WWE, whether that’s next year or the year after.
