Nia Jax Talks Knocking Out Becky Lynch, Being In The Men’s Rumble & Why Her Match With Dean Ambrose Was Nixed

Nia Jax recently spoke with Inside The Ropes to promote WrestleMania 35 where she discussed knocking out Becky Lynch and who she wants to win the main event.

On being in the men’s Royal Rumble and if we can expect a moment like that again:

“Absolutely, I definitely think we can see more of that, it was incredible. I found out abut being in the men’s Royal Rumble right before, so it was pretty shocking to me myself. The fact that I got to share the ring with legends like Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton was incredible. I think to date, that is the highest moment of my career.”

On why the advertised match against Dean Ambrose never happened:

“Unfortunately, they didn’t have the schedule right and I had Total Divas that I had to go to, so we couldn’t make it work.”

Nia’s prediction for the WrestleMania main event:

“I have to go with the Queen, hands down she is my pick to win. I feel like she is an incredibly hard worker and wrestling is in her blood.”

On who the next rising star of the women’s division is:

“Bianca Belair is my favorite, for sure you have to watch out for her coming up the ranks. I hope she comes up soon because she will add another flavor to the roster, she is an incredible athlete.”

On her infamous punch to Becky Lynch:

“So, in the moment we had the big brawl, punches were being thrown and when it happened I didn’t realize what I had done and it turned into something amazing. Something that was unfortunate in the moment turning into something incredible and look where it has led, she’s main eventing WrestleMania. To be fair, if she had been in that Survivor Series match with Ronda she might not have been able to have this incredible feud.”
