NJPW Announces Outdoor Event To Cap Off ‘Summer Struggle’ Tour

New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced a big outdoor event for August 29 at Jingu Baseball Stadium, the final event of their 2020 Summer Struggle tour that kicks off this weekend at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.

Details are scarce at this point, but it’s likely the event will be streamed live on NJPW World. Due to travel restrictions, their recent shows have featured live Japanese commentary, with English commentary uploaded for most shows within a few days.

A rematch between EVIL and Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental titles has been teased, as well as IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi vs. Taiji Ishimori, but there’s no certainty when those matches will take place.
