NJPW Power Struggle Results
November 3, 2018
Edion Arena, Osaka, Japan

Delayed coverage of this morning’s early New Japan show begins now! We’ve got Chris Jericho defending the IWGP Intercontinental Championship, Goto getting his rematch for the NEVER title, previews for all the top Wrestle Kingdom matches and more. Should be a good show — let’s get to it!

JUSHIN THUNDER LIGER, TIGER MASK, VOLADOR Jr. & SOBERANO Jr. vs. RYUSUKE TAGUCHI, ACH, CHRIS SABIN & TOA HENARE

Some early comedy spots from ACH who was wearing a rugby helmet, running around with a ball. Volador did some impressive high-flying with headscissors takedowns and springboard attacks, but ran into a brick wall when Henare tagged in, catching him out of the air and slamming him down hard with a powerbomb.

Things broke down into a brawl, as Soberano came off the top with a corkscrew crossbody on Coach Taguchi. Taguchi’s team rallied back and sent all four opponents colliding together in the middle of the ring, followed by four stereo running hip attacks. He and ACH finished off Soberano with a unique wheelbarrow X-Factor combo. All eight guys shook hands and celebrated together after the match.

Winners: Taguchi Japan
