NXT Women’s Title Match Running Head-to-Head Against AEW Debut on TNT

The so-called “Wednesday Night Wars” are just two week away, as All Elite Wrestling gets set to debut on TNT and the WWE NXT brand is mere hours removed from their very own live debut on the USA Network.

Following Candice LeRae’s huge victory in a Fatal 4-Way match this Wednesday night, WWE has officially announced that she will go one-on-one with the “Queen of Spades” Shayna Baszler on October 2, with the NXT Women’s Championship hanging in the balance.

Incidentally, that night will also see All Elite Wrestling crown their inaugural women’s champion, as the recent Casino Battle Royale winner Nyla Rose gets set to face joshi sensation Riho, who defeated Hikaru Shida at All Out to earn her way into the bout.
