WWE RAW Superstar Paige, the leader of Absolution, joined the WWE Network pre-show panel this evening to discuss her feelings on not being a part of the historic, first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match.
“Obviously I’m very upset by it, that I can’t be a part of it. I did make this happen. I was the star of the women’s revolution and so I will take credit for that. But the girls are a unit and I have all the faith in the world in them, so I’m pretty sure they’re going to do well.” … “Women are making history once again, and I’m just happy that I can be a part of it.”
On what happens if the Elimination Chamber comes down to Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville:
“Well then I win, because one of them becomes the champion, and Absolution becomes the champion. I win.” … “I’ve already prepped them for that. When it comes down to that they have to fight it out. But at the end of the day, one of them is going to walk out the RAW Women’s Champion. Absolution is going to make history here tonight.”
On Ronda Rousey officially becoming a part of the WWE roster:
“I love the fact that she’s here, a woman of her caliber. The women’s division is so big right now that women of her caliber want to join the group. Which is great, but you know what, in UFC you fight maybe twice a year. Well in WWE times that by a hundred. Let’s see if she can really handle it here. Ronda, welcome aboard my love.”
