As seen at Slammiversary on Sunday night, Petey Williams filled in for Rich Swann in the opening Four Way match, after Swann was removed from the show due to a concussion. According to PWInsider.com, Williams was already scheduled to be backstage at Slammiversary to work in a producer capacity, so the decision was made for him to replace Swann as it was a convenient backup plan.
Former WWE star Santino Marella, real name Anthony Carelli, will be making an appearance at tonight’s Impact Wrestling tapings.
Also set for tonight’s tapings is the Impact debut of Scarlett Bordeaux.
Impact is also running a promotion for tonight’s show which will allow fans free entry into the tapings if they show their ticket stub from Sunday’s Toronto Blue Jays game.
