Possible Role For Shawn Michaels at WWE Super Show-Down, Does Big Cass Have a No-Compete Contract Clause with WWE?


As noted, WWE will be holding another “all hands on deck” event on October 6th in Melbourne, Australia, called WWE Super Show-Down, and it will be headlined by the final match between The Undertaker and Triple H.

As we noted earlier today, WWE is also advertising top names such as Ronda Rousey and Daniel Bryan for the big event, and another name being advertised is WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels. While the possibility of Michaels wrestling on the show is not great, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports there has been talk of using Michaels as a special guest referee at the show, similar to the role he played at the NXT live event in San Antonio last year when WWE went head-to-head against ROH.

Does Big Cass Have a No-Compete Clause with WWE?

Former WWE star Big Cass, who was released from WWE earlier this week, does have a standard 90-day no-compete clause in his contract, meaning he will be unable to appear on any televised promotion’s shows until after Septemeber 19th.
