As seen on WWE Raw this week, Ronda Rousey did not appear on the show, despite WWE announcing just last week that Rousey would be appearing at every Raw show heading into WrestleMania 34.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Rousey was not at Raw this week due to a scheduling error on WWE’s part, as she was in Pittsburgh undergoing medical testing, and was never scheduled to be in Detroit for Raw. The report furthers Rousey wanted to be in Detroit, but it was impossible for her to be there as she was undergoing required medical testing.
As for last week’s WWE announcement, The Sheet reports a mistake was made in announcing Rousey for every Raw heading into WrestleMania, but the announcement was shared across every department’s social media in WWE, and once word started spreading in the company, other WWE departments followed suit in reporting the news. The original announcement posted on WWE.com has since been deleted.
Finally, The Sheet reports Rousey is now scheduled to appear on every Raw heading into WrestleMania beginning with next week’s show, but it’s possible she will only appear in dark segments. The report stresses Rousey missing Raw this week was not a case of her no-showing or having any other prior obligations aside from the required medical testing.
