Rey Mysterio Provides Injury Update Ahead Of WrestleMania 35

During the WWE Hall Of Fame red carpet event, Rey Mysterio was interviewed about his injury status ahead of tomorrow’s WWE WrestleMania 35.

Rey Mysterio was scheduled to go one on one with Samoa Joe for the United States Championship tomorrow, however, an ankle injury that he suffered on Monday Night Raw had cast some doubts over his status for the show.

During his red carpet appearance Mysterio was asked about his ankle, where he stated:

“After Wednesday when I got into New York the only thing I have been doing is icing my ankle, raise it up, and I have been using some newer technology to keep the inflammation down and the swelling, I am almost pain free I am about 95% and range of motion about 90% so I have one more night to soak it all in and be ready for tomorrow, so I will be good, I’ll be good for tomorrow.”

With that statement from Mysterio himself it seems set that the originally planned Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio match will be taking place.
