Marty Scurll has been on a mission to find a fourth member for Villain Enterprises. The wildly successful faction featuring Scurll, Brody King and PCO, has quickly risen to the top of the industry and taken Ring of Honor Wrestling by storm.
Now ROH has listed five possible choices to join Villain Enterprises:
Each name on this list is intriguing, but perhaps no one stands out from the pack quite like Jeff Cobb. The former Olympian has become one of pro wrestling’s biggest stars, thanks to his work and his athletic ability in the ring. He’s undefeated in one-on-one matches in ROH and Cobb has shown that he has a personality, which he wold most definitely need in Villain Enterprises.
It may seem that Cobb perhaps wouldn’t fit with Marty and company but according to ROH’s website, that may not be the case.
At first glance, Cobb doesn’t appear to have a “villainous” mindset, but let’s not forget that he stormed into ROH by singlehandedly wrecking the 2018 Top Prospect Tournament. That certainly wasn’t very nice. With Cobb’s considerable skills and killer instinct, “The Hawaiian Juggernaut” would actually fit right in with Villain Enterprises.
But it’s obvious to many fans that RUSH would perhaps be a better fit for Villain Enterprises, as he seems to check all of the boxes. He’s intense, he’s driven and he would bring a dangerous edge to the group. However it could be that the Los Ingobernables founder would have other ideas in mind.
RUSH and Scurll could very well be kindred spirits, as they both are popular with fans despite unapologetically doing whatever it takes to win. On the other hand, one has to wonder if RUSH, an alpha male, could handle not being the leader of the group.
It’s unknown when and where Marty Scurll’s group will finally announce who is joining their ranks.
