It was recently reported that with key members of The Elite potentially on their way out of the promotion, Ring of Honor was in full-on “hiring mode” heading into the New Year, where they are likely to lose Cody Rhodes, Hangman Page and The Young Bucks.
This week alone we have seen two-time ROH World Television Champion Silas Young signed to a brand new three-year contract, and WWF/WCW legend PCO snatched up in an exclusive three-year deal as well. We also know that current ROH World Champion Jay Lethal will be staying on for — you guessed it — another three years as well.
Dave Meltzer is now reporting that yet another up-and-coming name on the independent scene, current AAW World Champion Brody King, has been locked down to an exclusive contract. Interestingly enough, both PCO and King are not only new acquisitions for the promotion, but Ring of Honor is also simultaneously taking talent away from MLW.
It would seem that talent is being locked down left and right, with Trevor Lee reportedly leaving Impact Wrestling for a WWE deal, ACH heading that way as well, and WALTER signing on to the NXT UK brand.
