As we have been reporting for the past couple weeks, former TNA star Rockstar Spud is expected to be debuting with WWE imminently, as he has been backstage with WWE for several recent Raw and Smackdown TV tapings.
We also noted over the weekend that former Impact Wrestling World Champion EC3 finished up with the company at this week’s TV tapings in Orlando, as he was granted an early release from his contract which was set to expire sometime this summer.
According to reports over the weekend, WWE is definitely interested in signing EC3, and Rockstar Spud has since posted the following photo which has generated much online speculation that EC3 might be WWE-bound along with Spud.

At last word, the plan in WWE is for Rockstar Spud to join the company on the 205 Live brand, which will be holding it first ever live events this weekend.
As for EC3, before making his Impact Wrestling debut he had a brief run in WWE developmental, working under the ring name Derrick Bateman.
