Ring of Honor did a major favor for Tommy Dreamer and his House of Hardcore promotion this past weekend.
According to PWInsider.com, ROH sent over their tag team champions Mark and Jay Briscoe as a surprise after several injuries, illnesses and other factors took a number of advertised talents off the show.
The Briscoes are under exclusive contracts with Ring of Honor and therefore rarely take independent bookings within the United States. Dreamer thanked ROH and Joe Koff for sending him and the fans a surprise, bringing out the champs to face Rich Swann and Teddy Hart.
Additionally, it was recently reported that PCO had signed a three-year contract with Ring of Honor and had begun pulling out of dates for the remainder of the year, including this weekend’s MLW television tapings in Miami. However, he was apparently NOT told to pull out of House of Hardcore and made that decision on his own.
