Rumor Killer On Vince McMahon Meeting with MSG Officials, Why Lio Rush Match Did Not Take Place on 205 Live This Week

Apparently a rumor has been floating around online claiming Vince McMahon is scheduled to meet with Madison Square Garden officials in an attempt to kill the G1 Supercard event taking place at MSG next year. According to, there is no truth to the rumor, and McMahon has no meetings scheduled with MSG. Furthermore, even if WWE were to meet with MSG, Vince himself would not be the one meeting with officials as it would be done through WWE’s live events department.

Why Lio Rush vs Naom Dar Did Not Take Place on 205 Live This Week

The announced match between Lio Rush and Noam Dar did not take place on WWE 205 Live this week, and instead a backstage segment was shot wth Drake Maverick announcing the bout will take place next week as Rush could not wrestle this week due to his commitments to Bobby Lashley.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, time constraints could be the real reason why the bout did not happen, as WWE made a late change last week to tape 205 Live before Smackdown as a result of the Mixed Match Challenge. The 205 Live tapings began at 6:30pm on Tuesday this week, just a half hour before Smackdown went live, which meant they only had 30 minutes to film the 205 Live matches.
