Tara Comments on If She Would Return to TNA

Former TNA Knockout Tara spoke with VOC Wrestling Nation on her time in TNA Wrestling and if she would ever return to the organization.

“TNA is out of the question. It wasn’t a good fit for me. I had a great run there, but it was very different from WWE. It made me appreciate WWE a lot.”

Tara also spoke about her future and it if involves wrestling.

“Never say never. I’m 42 and I’m still kicking ass and in better shape than when I was wrestling. It’s in my blood. I’m lucky that I live wrestling at my restaurant. I don’t think I’m done wrestling; I have a lot to give in terms of knowledge and helping other females.”

Tara also commented about current Knockouts, her restaurant and much more. You can check out the full interview here

No matter what you think of Tara, you cannot deny her ring skills. Tna in the last 3 years has severely declined. One of the reasons they have AJ styles doing the Dixie made bad decisions act, is because the company has made a bunch of piss poor decisions. They never should have gotten rid of Jay Lethal, or the Pope. They have wasted the talents of Eric Young. They even had about a year where the biggest money draw they had was the tag matches between Beer Money, Motorcity Machine Guns, and Generation Me. Instead of improving upon them and bringing in guys that could up the game, they split the teams up and got rid of some of the wrestlers. However the absolute worst, is how they have handled Matt Morgan, Rob Terry, Samoa Joe, and Abyss. They have no idea how to use that talent.

TNA got rid of her because she was one of, if not the highest paid diva on their roster and they just did not want to pay her the money. I might have more sympathy for TNA if they were not paying Hogan an ungodly amount of money to walk out to the ring and talk. I am sorry, most of the time I take wrestling websites with a grain of salt anymore but if they were paying Hogan anything close to what was reported and were not willing to pay money for people like Tara that can actually still work a match every night then they have no one to blame for their money problems but themselves. I hope to god they make it. God knows there needs to be some alternative to the WWE, but there current product is not working. They are having trouble filling even small arenas. Something has really got to change or they need to close the doors.

I was just at her restaurant, and yes she was in attendance, and the place was PACKED for the Squared Circle PPV plus a large crowd is expected for tomorrow [today? It’s after Midnight] with a personal appearance by Karma/Awesome Kong. Her business is doing real well so I don’t know why she would consider going back to TNA just so they’ll tell her they have nothing for her right now. She doesn’t need TNA. I would almost venture to say she is doing well enough that she doesn’t need WWE either.

Her custom car shop sure didn’t do very well.

      • raul cruz

Well she’s doing quite well now here in Chicago. Hell people were standing against the walls just to give you an idea how packed it was. She has been featured on various local television shows and had several positive reviews in local media as well.

Tara is cool, But she was getting paid a lot, TNA had no choice.
