Taz Comments on His Relationship with Jim Ross

Taz spoke with Jeremy Borash on Impact Wrestling’s Podcast about Jim Ross announcing his retirement.

“JR’s a legend, he’s a personal friend, I love him,” Tazz replied. “I think that no matter if he’s working there or not, he’ll always be a legend. I’m a huge JR fan, I’ve learned a lot from JR, he’s a great man… I talk to Jim a lot and hope to see him again soon, and I think the man’s a Hall of Famer for a reason and the best of all time.”

  1. If TNA had any brains left, they would get rid of Hogan/Bishoff, use the money that they were costing them, add a couple zeros and hire JR. The effect would be instant, JR announcing would instantly put TNA in a different place, ” Dear God, Dear God, that is Abyss, the monster Abyss, he is beating Bully Ray like a Goverment Mule, he’s going to kill him……anyways you get the idea.

    • It isn’t so easy to get rid of Hogan and Bischoff. These guys were probably smart enough to get iron clad contracts so that even if TNA decided to give them the ol’ heave-ho it would probably still cost them money.
