The Lucha Brothers crashed AEW’s rally in Las Vegas on February 7. Pentagón El Zero M and Fênix came to the podium just after The Young Bucks had welcomed The Best Friends tag team as the newest duo to sign with the company.
The Lucha Bros took issue with The Bucks’ claim that the Mexican pair are the second best tag team in professional wrestling. Pentagón and Fénix took matters into their own hands when they attacked Matt and Nick Jackson, leaving them for dead on the stage.
The Lucha Bros will be part of Double or Nothing on May 25 and many expect that they will indeed face The Young Bucks at the event.
The Young Bucks stated their intention to bring tag team wrestling to the forefront of AEW. Signing The Lucha Bros is a huge step in making that a reality for All Elite Wrestling.
