THE MAN is going to WrestleMania.
While she wasn’t advertised for this year’s 30-Woman Royal Rumble, or even scheduled as one of the 30 competitors in the match, Becky Lynch managed to maneuver her way into the annual January classic as a last-second replacement, going on to win the whole thing.
Originally the “Ravishing Russian” Lana entered the Rumble from the 26th position. However, due to an injury (storyline only) suffered in the Kickoff Show match between Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura, ringside medics ultimately ruled her unable to compete.
After Carmella made her entrance as the 30th and final competitor in the match, Lynch made her way to the ramp where medics and officials were still tending to Lana, and pled her case to trainer and producer Fit Finlay. The wrestling legend eventually agreed to let the Irish Lasskicker into the Rumble, where she went on to eliminate both Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair to punch her ticket to the main event of WrestleMania.
