Tonight is the night!

WWE NXT makes its debut on the USA Network tonight at 8PM ET as a part of its new live, two-hour block every Wednesday night, getting a two-week head start on All Elite Wrestling’s head-to-head debut on October 2.

Headlining the big move will be NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream, as he puts his title on the line against Roderick Strong in a big rematch from last month’s NXT Takeover: Toronto special. Will Dream continue his reign, or will Strong be able to finally realize the Undisputed Era’s destiny of holding all the gold?

Also confirmed for tonight’s show is a Fatal 4-Way match to determine the new #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae, Io Shirai and Mia Yim will do battle to see who challengers the “Queen of Spades” – however, after being forced into a controversial DQ finish last Wednesday when facing Shayna Baszler, it has been teased that Rhea Ripley may be added to the bout as well.

Finally, Matt Riddle and Killain Dain will lock up one more time. Given how their last match ended, and the growing amount of dangerous incidents between the two, the powers that be have seen fit to allow these two warriors to end their feud in a match with no rules, and nothing to stop them from going as extreme as needed – a Street Fight!

That’s all we know for now, but given that the show is now two full hours long, you can bet we’ll see a whole lot more tonight when the show goes live from Full Sail University.

Just a reminder that only the first hour of NXT will air live on the USA Network this evening. The second hour will be exclusive to the WWE Network this week and next due to scheduling conflicts, but the full two-hour show will be on USA starting October 2.
