Two More Title Matches Set For NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13; Updated PPV Card For The Biggest Show Of The Year


We are just a few short weeks away from one of the most highly anticipated events of the entire year, as the stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling invade the world famous Tokyo Dome on Jan. 4th for Wrestle Kingdom 13.

The match card is really coming together, with eight bouts officially confirmed so far. As previously reported, Kota Ibushi will defend the NEVER Openweight Championship in a potential dream match, and following the conclusion of the 2018 World Tag League, we now have a look at the IWGP Tag Team Championship picture.

It is expected that Cody Rhodes will defend the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship at the Tokyo Dome as well, with some kind of giant six-man tag team gauntlet match for the NEVER 6-Man titles likely to get the rest of New Japan’s relevant roster on the main card. The New Japan Rumble is also likely to return as a free pre-show event on NJPW World.
